Ang Yi Qin (1 Diligence 5)

Ang Yi Qin helped to look after a classmate daily. During PE lessons, she would take very good care of this classmate and even try to guide him to do simple PE tasks such as rolling, throwing and catching. With her passionate help, this child enjoys attending PE classes. Yi Qin sacrificed the opportunity to play with her other friends to help this classmate of hers and she did it so willingly. Yi Qin has consistently shown compassion towards her other classmates by helping readily. She shows patience when dealing with some of her classmates who are resistant to her helpful efforts and remains determined to help them. When providing aid, she does so in a subtle manner and never seeks to draw attention to her deeds, nor glorify her efforts. She is a positive role model for her peers, despite her young age.

Suresh Jaanvi (6 Resilience 4)

Jaanvi is very passionate in her mission to clean up the environment. It started in Primary 2 when she volunteered for the Marine Conservation Project, a school-based environmental project. Her parents were her strongest supporters as they would go to the beach to pick up litters. In 2023, she took part in the Nature Guides’ litter picking project at the beach. After the project, with the encouragement from teachers like Ms Pauline Lee, Ms Edelyn Lee and Ms Shafira, she invited a group of friends for 2 litter picking activities on their own (Bukit Timah hill and Rail Corridor). They had a rich experience, walking many kilometers and picking up many litters, even encountering curious and potentially dangerous monkeys along the way. Even with the PSLE examinations around the corner, she has started her planning on organizing more litter picking projects with her peers after the examinations.

Anne Kamalini (6 Resilience 4)
Anne Kamalini excelled as the chairman of Indian Dance CCA and vice chairman of Scouts CCA n 2023. Her dedication was evident in Scouts CCA, where she actively supported younger Scouts, assisting them with uniform preparations, for example putting on their uniforms correctly. Anne's commitment extended to volunteering on weekends, notably with Project Smile. She led students in packing and distributing groceries to the vulnerable community. A natural role model, she embodies care, kindness, dedication and commitment in setting a commendable example in both academic and community endeavour.

Recently, she has volunteered to lead a team of students to perform live to an audience made up of cancer patients. The team had to practice for the performance over a tight schedule and she was very open to feedback and was very encouraging to her peers. She acted as the emcee during the performance and really led the team well.

Bernice Chung Hee Chee (6 Honesty)
Bernice has demonstrated remarkable dedication in making a significant impact on others through her outstanding contributions. Leading the school’s monthly Project SMILE since August 2022, she has not only inspired her peers but also cultivated a strong core team that effectively guides volunteers. Her infectious enthusiasm and dynamic leadership have resulted in fulfilling experience for participants and tangible benefits for project recipients.

Bernice’s commitment extended beyond expectations as she went above and beyond in Project SMILE. Volunteering to stay beyond her duties, she played an instrumental role in packing and distributing grocery packs to recipients. Her additional responsibilities included contacting recipients for reminders and personally presenting the packs. Despite the time-sensitive commitment, she displayed unwavering dedication, dedicating an entire Saturday morning to ensuring the project’s success.

Bernice’s heart of service shines brightly through her selfless action, exemplifying an admirable and genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Her leadership, energy, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set a remarkable example of service and compassion.

Divesh Jaya Chandran (4 Compassion)
Divesh is an exceptional individual with a strong dedication to helping others. His commitment to community service is evident through his active involvement in various charitable activities both within and outside his school.

At Lianhua Primary School, Divesh consistently participates in Project SMILE events, demonstrating his unwavering support and willingness to contribute. Project SMILE aims to distribute grocery packs to the vulnerable families in the schools and the community on a monthly basis.

His assistance to the other school events, in the form of decorations and artwork for festivals, showcases creativity and enthusiasm for enhancing the school’s environment during the special occasions like the Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, International Friendship Day and Racial Harmony Day.

Beyond his school’s boundaries, Divesh extends his helping hand to Hao Ren Hao Shi, engaging in charity work to support vulnerable families. His initiative to create and sell artworks to raise funds for charity exemplifies his innovative approach to making a positive impact.

Recently, he has volunteered to take up the role as a core team member of the Project SMILE, highlighting his leadership potential and commitment to making a difference.

Divesh’s actions over the past two years, including his donation efforts to Hao Ren Hao Shi, underline his ongoing dedication to helping others and contributing to a better community. His Selflessness, creativity, and willingness to take initiative make him a role model and an inspiration to everyone who knows him.

Muhammad Kayden Toh (5 Diligence)
Kayden’s amazing commitment to the school’s edible gardens stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication and selflessness. Beyond the demanding nature of gardening, he has consistently volunteered his time after school, showcasing an impressive blend of passion and patience essential for maintaining the school’s edible garden.

Kayden’s influence extends beyond the garden itself, as he takes on the role of an inspiring peer. Through his unwavering dedication, he motivates others to engage in his passion actively, reflecting his discipline and sense of responsibility. He consistently steps up to identify and address challenges, demonstrating his proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

One of Kayden’s notable contributions involves the school’s fundraising efforts for Hao Ren Hao Shi. By meticulously preparing pots of plants for sale, he actively contributed to the organisation’s mission of supporting vulnerable families through grocery pack distributions. His altruism and tangible efforts underline his commitment to making a meaningful difference in the community.

Kayden’s consistent involvement, discipline and thoughtful initiatives highlight his exceptional character and dedication. His ability to blend his passion for gardening with a genuine desire to contribute to a larger cause showcases his admirable qualities and serves as an inspiration to his peers and the broader community.
